Notorious Serial killer arrested in Abia State

A notorious Serial Killer and one of the perpetrators in the ritual killing of late Ime Odo who is on the payroll of Ifekwe Udo Emetu, alias fada who introduced himself as Ukpai Eke from Biakpan in Cross River State has been arrested.

 According to report, an employee of Mr Ifekwe udo Emetu aka, fada fada, Mr Ukpai Eke was arrested on August 13, 2020 after being on the wanted list for a case of murder of late Mr Ime Odo on July 25.

He confessed of the brutal murder act as well as working on the pay roll of Ifekwe Udo.  According to him, his gang hired the services of the motorcycle ridder and took him to Ukwa between Abia Ohafia and Ukwa Mbiabong in Cross River State where they murdered him with axe and took away his motorcycle which he was meant to complete payment two weeks to his employer- Ifekwe Udo.   

He went further to confess that, this is what they have been doing for years and whenever this assignment is concluded, the motorcycle will be sent back to Ifekwe whom they addressed as Fada, the Lucifer. He, Ifekwe will rebrand the motorcycle tank and seat and give it out again under hire purchase to other loyalists as a new brand.  According to the killer squard, this exercise has lingered and remained uncovered for many years. 

He went further to confess that this is not his first time of involvement in this dastardly act but pleaded for forgiven.  He said that many other members of the killers gang are scattered everywhere within Ohafia and its environs.

Lagos reveals criteria for promotion for student

Lagos State Government-owned schools will be promote it’s pupil to the next classes using continuous assessments.

The commissioner for Education in Lagos, Mrs Folashade Adefisayo revealed on Thursday on Channels Television.

“(For) the reopening (of schools) we’re doing, we are working with the Federal Government so I will not unilaterally say that we are doing this or that but we are planning,” Adefisayo said during a programme on Channels Television on Thursday.

“There are two scenarios, if we don’t have third term, it means that we push next session to next year.

“Each one has its own complexity but we will do what is best for the students. But if the students do not do the third term examination, they will use their CA (continuous assessment).”

Omotola Sends a message to Sanwo-Olu from Isolation

Well-known Nigerian actress, Omotola Jalade Ekeinde, on Saturday announced that she tested positive to Covid-19, and has been in Isolation, inline with NDDC directive of keeping others safe, to help in mitigating widespread of the pandemic that has killed hundreds of thousands of people.

“Hello all, I know most of you have been wondering where I’ve been.
“Well, I contracted COVID. I have been ill, in Isolation and now getting better.” she said.

In her statement released on her verified Instagram page, the mother of four, who disclosed her recent health state, sent a message to the Governor of Lagos state, Babajide Sanwo-Olu concerning the high rate of accident caused by reckless drivers.

While reacting to the whole incident that have caused many to go timeless, The superstar actress also known as Omosexy, disclosed that her heart is troubled, concerning how the Nigerian people are needlessly dying because of indiscipline of drivers and poor enforcement from agencies on Road

She called on the state government to do the needful in mounting the right measures on roads, in other to cease more report of deaths caused by road users.

“I have read the devastating news of how our youths are needlessly dying and getting crushed by trailers/containers! This is disheartening and has made my heart really troubled! How Police Officers Extorted N1.8 Million From Teenagers Through POS/ Bank In Delta State

ASABA – Delta State Police Com­mand is combing every­where to arrest two police officers attached to AIG Zone 5 Benin, who alleged­ly extorted two teenagers of N1.8 million at gunpoint in Effurun, Delta State.

Trouble started when a Warri-based Human Right Lawyer, Barrister Omes Ogedegbe, alleged on a post on his Facebook page that the teenagers were alleged­ly dragged down from a tri­cycle into a Camry car at gunpoint by the PTI junc­tion last week.

According to him, “This afternoon while I was in the office secretariat, our Delta Central coordinator who doubles as the UPU Youth President, Comrade Umukoro Efemina, came to the office in the company of his vice and two teenage boys whom he directed to narrate their ordeals to me and it was very devas­tating.

“They claimed the both of them were in a tricycle when a Camry car stopped them and dragged them into the car at gunpoint by the PTI junction. They were immediately placed in handcuffs and taken to a POS stand at the Plaza by PTI junction.

“The policemen were only two in number. One took the ATM and the pin of one of them to the POS but the card failed. That he returned and led one of the boys to the POS stand where the boy with the aid of his phone transferred N400, 000 which appears as his limit.

“They moved them to First Bank, Effurun, while one was in handcuff in the car, the police led the other to the bank and transferred N1.4million to the POS la­dy’s account making a total of N1.8million.

“The Delta State CP with zero tolerance for corrup­tion, extortion, robbery and hostage-taking direct­ed the DPO Ebrumede to arrest the POS owner who was taken to the station.

“The boys recalled that while at the Plaza they remembered someone greeted the police and told them he would meet them in their Hotel along the DSC express road. We in­formed the CP about it and proceeded to the hotel with a Senior Police Officer and behold one of the wanted officers was right in front of us.

“The senior police offi­cer with us immediately disarmed him but before he could be arrested he had swiftly scaled the fence and escaped leaving his official rifle behind.

“This case is a terrif­ic and mind bugling. We have done several recover­ies which I enjoy keeping out of the press but I am tempted to make this pub­lic as kidnapping cannot be less defined.”

Attempts by a team of police acting on the direc­tive of the Commissioner to arrest the suspects at their hideout along DSS express road were unsuc­cessful, as one of them escaped leaving his gun behind, assuring that the manhunt continues.

A senior police officer in the state who spoke to us in confidence con­firmed the report saying “Yes we are on their trail, they will not escape jus­tice, the current CP in Del­ta has a zero-tolerance for officers who abuse their position and office.

When contacted to con­firm the report, the Com­missioner of Police, Delta State Police Command, Mr. Hafiz Mohammed Inuwa said he was out of the state and would not want to talk about the issue until fully briefed.

A renowned traditionalist and Ifa priest, Chief Ifayemi Elebuibon who hosted the Nigerian Witches and Wizards, charged them to use their supernatural powers to assist others and pray for the good of the society.

The Ifa Priest also used the occasion to lament about the increase cases ofviolence in many regions of the country, maintaining that “Eledumare” is not happy with such developments and the government must find a way to end such happenings.

His words, “Eledumare is displeased with the shedding of the blood of innocent Nigerians. And there is grave punishment for that. It is happening in the north and down south. Political leaders and heads of security agencies in Nigeria must work to put an end to this. If they fail to do that, the consequences will be too heavy for this country.”

The National Identity Management Commission (NIMC) has now made it possible for Nigerians to get their National ID cards in an entirely online process. Many Nigerians have complained about not being able to easily obtain their National ID cards, which has hindered them from being able to fully take advantage of the benefits of owning one.

This is due to the fact that they only possess a national identity slip containing their unique national identity number (NIN).

The NIMC has allayed these concerns by introducing a quick means of getting your national identity card through an online app.

Here are all the steps involved in the process.

Download the NIMC Mobile ID App

First, you have to download the NIMC Mobile ID app, powered by its mobile services platform (MWS). Android users can visit the google play store to download and install the NIMC Mobile ID app. For iPhone users, they need to visit the app store to get the ios version of the app.

Input Your NIN and Mobile Number

After downloading and installing the NIMC Mobile ID app, the next step is to correctly enter your 11-digit national identity number (NIN) found on your national identity slip. In case you cannot remember or find your NIN, you can dial *324# via Nigerian sim cards only. Do not input your bank verification code (BVN) as your NIN to avoid being blacklisted.

Select +234 as your phone country code if that is not the default selection before entering your remaining 10-digit mobile number. Use the mobile number registered with your NIN. Ensure that you do not make any errors when filling in your information and check again to correct any mistakes. Click ‘next’ on the top far right.

Read the Attestation and Click “I Agree” to Continue

Now read through the attestation carefully and hit the ‘I Agree’ button to proceed to the next step.

Enter Your Preferred PIN twice and click “Finish”

Fill in your chosen PIN twice. Be sure it is one you can easily remember or you may choose to write it down as well. Click ‘Finish’ to go to the final stage.

Congratulations, You’re Almost There

This is the last stage where the NIMC Mobile ID app’s user interface displays all your command options. Click on ‘Show my ID’ and your national identity card is ready for download.

Nigerian National ID Card

Voila! You now have your Nigerian national identity card.

You must have a NIN number to complete the process. This means if you haven’t applied or enrolled with the NIMC, you are not eligible for a National ID card. Enrollment for the National ID card is free according to the Head of Corporate Communications of NIMC, Kayode Adegoke.
